Application "A" Uses Application "B"'s Already-Downloaded OpenMaps Data?

Is this possible within Android?

Where I'm going with it is that it looks like I am going to have a lot of Osmand+ downloaded maps already on hand.

But I also want a sports tracking app that records my track, time, speed and so-forth.

The sports tracking apps that I have tried so far all seem to use GoogleMaps.

OK... I could pre-cache a bunch of GoogleMaps tiles...And Google probably won't change the rules mid-game... But I already have this library of OpenMaps vector maps on hand - and under my control.

Is it possible for somebody to have written a training app that can share those maps with Osmand+?

Or am I trying to fool Mother Nature?
