Application Announcements

I have moved several app announcements from Android Applications and Android Games to the Applications Announcements forum lately. Today I noticed the little quotes at the top of those forums (see below) kind of imply that folks should announce new apps here. If users are told that this is a place to "find" apps, then doesn't that invite devs to announce them here?

Just wondering what others think about this. Maybe it will get more of the application announcements where they belong and drive user traffic to the Applications Announcements forum.

edit: I just noticed that Applications Announcements isn't even linked in Android Games
