Help Application Page Animation Help

Hi,
I just updated my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket (AT&T) to the Android Jellybean 4.1.2 operating system. I know that in the previous version I couldn't change the page animation (the animation of how the home screen pages flip). I know it is possible on the Android LG phones, but I can't seem to change it on mine. I was hoping with the new update I could change it.

I updated my Skyrocket to the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on Saturday and since the update my Skyrocket has been extremely slow

Have you experienced anything similar? I did a factory reset before the update to Jelly Bean, updated it, then did another factory reset and then started reloading everything to my phone.

It's very slow in closing/opening apps, especially text messaging... I'm a pretty fast texter and I find the phone having to catchup with me. Overall it's just plain slow...
