Hi

You have not told us exactly what phone it is. I suspect this is a second post from you so I have repeated the previous answer below:

If you want to do a factory reset which may well solve the problem but will wipe all your data (everything you put on the phone yourself) you can do it either from

menu
settings
backup & reset
factory reset

or if you cant get it to work for long enough to do that by

booting the phone (starting it from off) into the recovery menu. How you do this depends upon the phone type. If you google "recovery + your phone model" you should be able to find instructions. It usually involves holding more than one button at the same time when turning it on. From the recovery menu you can normally select (using the volume keys to scroll) the option by using the power button.

The recovery menu is a simple screen which looks like the text below: I suggest you do a wipe cache partition and then a reboot system now (normal startup of phone) and see if that helps. If not try a wipe data/factory reset but NOTE that this will permanently delete everything that you have put on your phone, so think about backing it up before you do this.

Android system recovery <3e>

Volume up/down to move highlight:
power button to select.

------------------------------------
reboot system now
apply update from ADB
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
------------------------------------

Hope this helps. It may be a good idea to register on the forums and subscribe to the forum for your phone so that you can get 2 way help.
