Root Application "Seeder", What Is It?

Kamau

I just found it in my application list, but after looking at the Play Store description of it, I am still abit lost as to what it is.
From what I can gather, it reduces lag in certain apps, though I am not sure how. I would like to know more about it before I turn it on, especially if it really does work, and what kind of battery use can I expect. If its gonna drain my battery to do its job, then I think I will pass on it.
Anybody have it/use it?

complete garbage.. Uninstall quickly

I use it and it doesn't drain the battery at all, but it seems to makes apps launch faster. However, most people seem to say it doesn't work.

Edit: After uninstalling, my phone doesn't seem any slower.

It makes a fix that is already included in Android 4.0+ so in theory it should help anything below android 4.0

Thats wierd, because I have "Wild For The Night", which is 4.2.. I can't be sure, but since I didn't download it myself, it either had to come from it, or the lastest "awesomeBEATS" I just downloaded a couple days ago.

What is it? Junk. It belongs in the same group as task killers and juice defender.
Even if there is some noticeable lag reduction, it's tiny. Like, only detectable in a side by side comparison tiny. Nowhere near worth messing with things that deep in the system just to make the app drawer open 1/4 of a second sooner.
If you don't agree with that, consider this - Google dismissed it on the code page for it. If you can't take the word of Google, then there's nothing else I can say here to convince anybody.

I experience noticable performance increase with CrossBreeder, unless thats just my mind playin tricks on me

Yeah, the Seeder app was an option in the premium version of Awesome Beats v5. You probably just checked the box during the aroma installation.

Yea, I just found that out not too long ago. I got rid if it by just reflashing awesomeBEATS and making sure I didn't check the box.
Thanks.
