Application to customize all notification tones

Hi all,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I wish I could customize the notification tones of various applications. For instance, I wish I could set a specific tone when I receive a message from a specific contact over Whatsapp or GTalk.

I tried WhoIsIt. It says it supports GTalk but it didnt work for me, and it does not support Whatsapp as well.

Please help me.

Well, it's a bit of a work-around, but you could try Lightflow. It's designed to control your LED, but you can also assign sounds to work just like the LED (different for every app). There's a freeware version, and PRO version (which I use and recommend).
 
Thank u Ryan for the suggestion. I tried Lightflow, but i cannot seem to find a way to customize the tone for GTalk (or Whatsapp) for each contact separately.

Thank you scouseefc, but i think Zedge is for finding tones and not assigning them.
 
Have you tried going into the individual contact, at the level where you edit their numbers, to see if there is an option?
 
Thank u Ryan. There is an option to change the ringtone for a contact, but unfortunately no option to change the notification tone :(
 
I doing think there's much more for options. If the apps in question don't allow those options, you may be stuck, or forced to look for another app that'll support that feature.
 
Just curious you all are referring to custom sound when a SMS (text) from your contact come in correct? Just like you can set a custom ringtone for a contact?
