applications

I was told that there applications which can be installed in the phone, and run secretly, without one even noticing it. I would like to know how to find it, for example in a mytouch4g.I might not be as easy as looking to a regular running application, but at least i want to know how can I find. there must a way...any help is welcomed..

Stop the paranoia now. You have nothing to be afraid of unless you download some strange apps from the Net or let other people use your phone.

If you want to check what is running in the background use Task Panel.

thanks for your reply, but its not paranoia.I am not an expert, but I was told that it can be done to run the apps in a way you wont even notice. It was a questions, not Paranoia.

There are apps that you* can run on your phone that won't give you any indication that they are running during normal operation of the phone, but if you go to settings>applications>manage applications you can see what's installed and running.

*You or someone who has physical access to your phone would have had to install them. If you believe this had happened to your phone already, then reformat your SD card and perform a factory reset.
