Help Apps and data fill up SD

I got a 64gb microsd and although i use 48gb of space (music and videos). It feels like its full. I run ES File Explorer and run analyze and it ahows an additional 12 on storage/0/emulated.

How can i properly clean up space and copymore of my files

/storage/emulated/0 is the "internal" SD card, i.e. the bit of the internal storage that pretends to be SD. That's different from your 64GB microSD.

Then why does my sd acts as if its full. Whenever i try to copy a file, either via usb or airdroid after a while the transfer terminates. Is there a way to do an error scan or some maintenance on it and see whats holding it back

You should see a sd0 and a sd1 in es file explorer...are you transferring to the correct storage?
