Help Apps and rotation problem need help

Hey guys Ive installed CM7.0 , everything goes fine but when i rotate my phone to horizontal position the screen stays in vertical (orientation is turned ON), like when im writing an SMS or url the keyboard stays only in vertical, i could not rotate even photos. Can you help? Thx :)

My Mrs found that on occasion, she'd have to hold the phone straight for the orientation to work, so it would be like this | as opposed to like this / in her hands.

Does that make sense?

Did it do it with the stock ROM?
 
Yes, it makes sense if i have rightly understood, but i would like to call it with these symbols l and ---

On stock rom it works everything fine. Im now using cyanogen mod 7.0.0, and i have read some topics on google. This rotation problem is because (i am from Slovakia) my phone have newer rotation sensor wich one CM7 doesnt support for now so there is no solution for me till some1 fix it in the custom roms. Seriously i dont like that :D but i dont want to switch back to stock rom because its only 2.1.
 
Mh :/ , so i have no chance to find a solution for my problem ? Only if orange would make a original update to 2.2 .
 
Is it safe to tpt to gen2 ? Ive read that i can downgrade from gen2 to gen1 using tpt is it true ? You know, i will loose my warranty of phone if i cant get back to gen1
 
shadow Thank you so much. Its working perfectly, it goes faster and smoother than CM7 and swedish spring (GEN1). Now i have GEN2 with Ginger Stir Fry and its great ! :)
