Hi
I have an Xperia running latest android version from Sony. It has only 8GB internal storage. Last week, I got a warning while updating some apps that there is insufficient memory on the device. I transferred 5 apps to SD card which has 32 GB space on it and after transferring those 5 apps, it still had 22 GB left on it. When I transferred those apps to SD card, I had gotten confirmation message each time confirming that the app was successfully transferred to SD card.
Last evening when I was updating a couple of apps, I got this warning again. When I checked, I saw that the apps I had transferred to SD card last week, were being shown as of residing on the internal storage again hence taking up the space again.
I transferred them to SD card again, making some space, updating those apps successfully. Got those confirmation messages each time an app was transferred to SD card.
Now just about 5 minutes ago, I checked again and I can see those 5 apps on internal storage again.
I wonder if that is Android which is incapable of maintaining apps on their respective and proper storage or could it be Sony's customization that has been poorly implemented to handle such things.
So anyone else who experienced the same? If yes, did you manage solve this or one just have to live with it and forced to "love" it?
