Help Apps constantly crash on my NOOK HD+

I have a lot of apps on my NOOK HD+ tablet that always seem to want to crash. Why is that? I get nothing but messages saying Unfortunately, this app has stopped every single time I try to open one of my apps.

Restart device.
Go to settings >storage>cached data>clear cached data .
Go to settings>storage>apps/ appication manager> all>download manager force stop clear data.
Go to settings>storage>apps/ appication manager> all>Google play store force stop clear data.
Open Google play store and tap on accept button.
Go to settings>storage>apps/ appication manager> all> select required app> uninstall updates/ uninstall.
Reinstall updates/ reinstall from Google play store.
Restart device.
