Apps Disappearing then Re-appearing!!

Hi;

An interesting phenomenom is happening with my Pad. When I first start it up and try to tap on my Ebook app on my frontpage it says app not installed and then I goto my Apps section and it isn't there. I restart my Tab and it reappears!!

Whassup??

The same thing happens to me with various apps.

I believe it comes down to the fact your android is not finished booting when you click the icon.

If I simply wait a little longer before trying to run an app, they all run fine.

Let me ask some questions then... Cuz you see I thought you are experiencing the same thing I am...

Are the apps installed to internal or external storage? My apps that screw up like that are generally apps installed to my SD card.

Do you know if the affected apps start on boot? They may be missing a confirmation of boot event.

Did any of the apps ever work?
Did you do anything between here and there with settings or perhaps an antivirus or security software?

One app I screwed up on mine myself... Used RomToolkit or similar named app to remove tracking in another app. That worked fine, so I removed the advertisement module... That didn't work well. And it was a 'stock metropcs' app.

Just sharing my experience about what could cause you're symptoms.

And what are the apps?

Ya Sharing is good...we may solve this!!!

The One App In question only starts when I do a warm reset

It works as above

I added ZDBox

The App affected by this is Mantano Reader.

Cause its on my SD card?

Might sound stupid, but I would try moving it to internal... Not all apps are necessarily 100% compatible with SD installation...

So that's my best guess... ;)
