Root apps don't show up after installing new rom

So what gives, only like 5 of my apps apear in the market place under downloads after i went to a new rom. i was told they would all be there to re download.

usually only your paid apps show up and your most recently installed free apps show up. at least thats all that shows up for me after i do a fresh install

man thats a bummer. i had a bunch of good ones. the funny part is some that show aren't paid.
