Hello, whenever i plug my phone into my computer to do some things like add music, etc. and i unplug my phone, all apps that i have on the internal memory won't work. When i first encountered this problem i never plugged my phone into a computer again unless it was to charge my phone so i don't remember what happens to the apps all i know is that they don't work and i have to uninstall them. is there a way to fix this?

You have to be sure and dismount the drive from windows xp before you unplug the usb cable. There is also an option to stop mass storage mode, or whatever it's called, from the phone while it's plugged in.

As long as everything is properly dismounted before you unplug the cable, there shouldn't be any problems with your internal storage.

In the bottom right corner of your computer screen ,there's a green arrow, you want to click on that & it will ask if it's safe to remove your devise, click that option & it will let you know when it's safe to do so!!

Also on your phone screen you have to click on the image that say's "usb connected" to disengage before you remove the cord!!!

Other than what others have said. If you generally just want to charge your phone with USB... the next time you connect it... in your notification bar you should see USB connected / mass storage.

Tap on that and set it to "charge only" and "remember setting". Now, it will only charge when you plug into USB by default and you don't have to worry about unmounting your storage. Also, you will be able to use all your apps and listen to your music, view photos etc while the phone is charging.

I had a similar issue when I was using Directory Bind. I had to reboot to get things working properly again after using mass storage.
