Help apps fail to update from market

In the past few days I noticed that most of the apps fail to update from Market when the update notice appears in AppBrain.

For example, right now I have an update for Amazon MP3 still pending but when I try to access it, it says "the requested item could not be found".
Also, when I'm trying to search the market for this particular app and click on the "update" button there, it shows no results.

Moreover, when I try to access links to the Market from any apps (to update games/apps or purchase the full version), I get the same error.

Does anyone knows what's the issue here?

Thanks.

Long shot but clear Market Cache

Settings>Applications>Manage applications>Market>Clear Cache

I tried that, unfortunately it doesn't work...

I noticed however that any app that was initially installed from the market can be updated but only if I go to each specific page.
Still, Amazon mp3 doesn't appear of the market at all, so even if I want to perform this update manually, I can't find the location.

This is what I just found when talking with a friend about this subject:

"AppBrain lists applications that are available in the US that are available for Android version 1.6 and up for devices with a normal screen size. Developers can restrict availability of apps by country, Android version and screen size. This means that if you're not in the USA, have a device with a small screen size (for instance the HTC Wildfire or Tattoo), or when you're not on the latest version of Android, you may often get the "not found" message from the Android market."

Sad on one hand as I'm living in EU and don't know why they restrict the access, but happy on the other to find out that there is (still) nothing wrong with my phone :)
