apps failing to work with wifi on, samsung galxy s2 4g.

im connected to wifi, and only some of my apps are working, eg intstagram, youtube etc.
but facebook nor the play store is working.. i've tried the differrent mobile network settings and it still doesnt work..

Seems very odd. They should all use the same port so I wouldn't think that is the cause. What do you mean by mobile network settings? Try another wifi or another device on that troubled wifi to troubleshoot the root cause of the problem.
