Apps for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

I love my Galaxy Tab 10.1 for web browsing but unfortunately the business applications fall very short compared to an iPad. I have Documents To Go but my Powerpoint apps don't play normally and the screens go blank to a black slide midway through the file. It's great for surfing and play but when you want to get down to business.....it isn't worth it. And Word-based e-mail apps and Yahoo are wonky too. Evaluate carefully HOW you plan to use the tab before buying

You sound like an iPerson. Documents to go is one of many word/PowerPoint apps...I prefer other ones and it is a google tablet. Obviously Gmail will sync/work best..I'm just ready for it to get ICS..

I think your complaint is with Documents To Go, not the Tab. I use OfficeSuite Pro and have no such issues. My wifi-only unit also works perfectly as a VoIP phone using GrooVe IP. If I can get printing working, it will replace my business laptop.

Someone needs to learn the difference between HARDware and SOFTware....haha :)

no offense, but it could also be a user error as well. I have Documents ToGo (the pay version) on both my Fascinate and my Tab, and I never have any problem whatsoever. Furthermore, Documents ToGo is the leading document software with millions of download. It is being used on iOS devices as well, and I have not heard of any complaint.

Thanks everyone for your comments and feedback and especially Mr Lucky. OfficeSuite Pro was the perfect solution. And, believe me, I am a loyal Android OS user.
