apps from amazon issue

Hi all
I have just come across an issue with apps from amazon. when I am using my nexus 7 when out, they do not work because they need an internet connection. Very poor as this is not the case with apps from Google. Is there a way round this? Cheers

Are you sure they all always need a connection? I know mine all need the Amazon appstore app installed and need an internet connection the first time they run, but I think they will run a second time with no connection.

Some work ok, but I have found the biggest part don't. I usually stick with google anyway but I do like to pick up the free app of the day if it is decent. It's not usually a problem as I can tether from by phone but I wanted to take it abroad with me where I will not have a data connection.

you might be facing this problem with some of the apps not every app requires an internet connection

It was games I was having trouble with such has bunny mania 2, froad, fruit ninja pib, star Jim. Obviously games I got for my kids
