Apps (how to access and use them)

Hey there, I have the android phone sony erricsson xperia x10 mini pro, I downloaded an app today, (Twidroyd) and I want to be able to use it. I go into market, and click on my apps and it shows up but how can I use it?? Its all so confusing lol, am new to android.

click on the program in "my apps" and click on "open"

or from your home screen, click on the app drawer (center button) and then scroll until you find it.

its not in my main menu at all, i have no ideas where it is, and when i go into my apps it doesnt give me an option to open it

When you say that you downloaded the app, did you install it through the Android Market? Or did you download the .apk file from a web site on the Internet? If from the market, did it tell you that it was installing the app? It sounds like the app was not installed successfully...
