Android Question

I have a galaxy S3 that I just had to have replaced. On my old one, I could open Scrabble Helper App and the icon would show up in the status bar. Then when I went to Words With Friends, if I needed Scrabble Helper, I would just click on the icon in the top left corner of the status bar and the app would open right over the WWF current game. I cannot get this to work on my new phone. I know it is a silly problem, but it is just driving me crazy because I know it's possible to do. On the Scrabble Helper App, I went to settings and clicked "Show In Notifications" which is supposed to allow quick access from other applications, also turned off and on after changing settings but it will not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both apps. At a loss. It seems like it should be a simple fix but I even took it into a radio shack and no one could help. I also do not have a 'notifications' icon in the notification bar.

Welcome to Android Forums! That is a strange problem. What I would suggest is opening up the Scrabble Helper app, then hit the home button after it's loaded. Then use words with friends, and when you want to use the scrabble helper, hold the home button, which takes you to the recent apps, and choose your the Helper app. Use the recent apps method to switch between WWF and Helper. (Gotta love Android Multitasking) :)
