Apps need update causes laggy touch response

Does anyone know why or how to stop the laggy touch response from Android devices running Android 5.0+?

Anytime there is an update for an app available the device gets laggy. This is across several devices running 5.0+

I can instantly tell if there is an update that needs to be run by the lag in the device.

Still prefer Android over iOS but seriously, it is becoming an issue.

Clear your cache via recovery, cleaning app, or settings and Uninstall useless/untouched apps, Try deleting some pics and videos (you can try to backup the files via usb and/or cloud storage and delete them in your phone), Overlock or underlock your device if its necessary, Try Clean Master to delete junk files

Use apps like fstrim, forever gone
rSEfix, Pimp my rom, Seeder (this app is optional) (some apps requires root)

Always, good ideas for any phone issue. And I appreciate it, but it is definitely an Android Lollipop issue. I have 6 other devices running Android Jelly Bean to Kit Kat (4.1 - 4.4.4) and 2 devices running Lollipop 5.0 to 5.1.1 and it only shows up on those devices. Basically if I am trying to switch apps or inside an app, typically a game, and I have to tap the screen more than twice to get a response I know that I have app updates available. Once I install the updates the issue goes away until more updates are available.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Mike
