Help Apps not installing Optimus M

Good Morning,
Since Sunday I have not been able to update any apps from either the market or restore from Titanium BackUp. Everytime I try to update any app, it will complete the download and start the install then fail. If I try to restore any app I will receive the usual prompts to accept. App will start to install but will immediately fail. Exact error Application not installed. Last back up I have is 06-05-2011. I am on a stock rom rooted with Z4 on 2.2, never been updated. Please any help or ideas as to what i could do would be much appreciated.

Go into Settings>>Applications>>Manager Applications>>Market
clear data and clear cache

I had a similar problem last week with the smdl2tmp1.asec file not deleting itself when it was supposed to and then nothing would update. I had to use Root Explorer to delete it.
