Apps not saving settings

Ive tried hancent and chomp sms to replace my galaxy s messaging app. They are both good, but when i change the setting, they reset after a few hours or when i reboot the phone. Is this supposed to happen?

Nope, they are supposed to keep the settings.

Sounds like something might have went wrong during an update or format.

Try doing a factory reset. If not I'd take it in for a new one.

What soul will I lose when I do a factory rest and how do I do it? could it be that I am using go launcher these settings are not saving?

Not likely. But if you are using Juice Defender or other task killer, that could be a problem. Maybe they kill tasks beffore they had the chance to save their settings.

Alright mate, I too am using go launcher and I too have found some programs are not saving my progress when they do if I open them through the TW launcher.

I really like the look and feel of the go launcher (and hate that the original TW launcher doesn't put your apps into alphabetical order) but this problem is getting me down now.

Gonna try to write to the developers and raise it as a fault.

I've experienced this same problem on many apps before. A factory reset has never fixed it for me. Most likely a bug or error with the app itself. Rolex replica
