Apps on SD do not show correct file size?

[AnotherFatalEpic]

Is it just me or does the nexus lie about app file sizes as soon as you move them to the SD card? It reports a tiny file size.. is this the space the app is taking up on the phone? And if so any way to switch to viewing full app size?

When you move apps to SD, a small portion of them remains on the phone, but the bulk moves across to the SD.

As far as I know the only way to view the full app size is to briefly move the app to your phone memory, as only the size of apps in internal memory is displayed.

Except in some cases, such as Google Earth, which is a 20MB app and only puts 5MB on the SD, leaving 15MB on the phone.
