Root Apps safe to remove

Hey I remember seeing a thread somewhere with an entire list of all the apps safe to remove after rooting
Anyone have that link?

Thanks

Just got to try it, it worked great
But theres still some stuff left on the phone, is there another list?

Two reasons that I can think of - there may be more.

1) For updates from some manufacturers, if the bloatware is not on the phone and working (not frozen) then you won't get the update. So freezing allows you to remain on the mfgs upgrade path.

2) Sometimes you delete an app to later find out it had some weird use by the system. Now your system is messed up with no easy way to fix it. Freezing allows you to test how the system will react to missing app.

always freeze apps. never remove them.

people are used to removing them because in the old days, phones only came with 1 gig or 2 gigs of storage space. So people wanted to make room for other apps.

the razr comes with 16 gb internal and the option for a 32 gb sd card. there is PLENTY of space for app downloads for the next 5 years. you do not have to delete anything.

freezing will help when you upgrade phone software. when you delete apps, when they push out upgrades, that upgrade might be wanting to patch an app that you deleted. if that's the case, the upgrade will fail.

and also like mhotovec said, the app you delete might have some crazy use on your phone. I know the yahoo system apps are not used for yahoo. it's used for your contact list. so if you delete them, when you want to make a call and open your contact list.. it will force close instantly. I had it happen to me and I had to get a new phone to fix the issue.

Yep. I just use TIBU and freeze the stuff that bugs me. Then when I get a upgrade, I go back in, unfreeze everything-the upgrade works, then go back and freeze it back up. Pain to fiddle with but beats having worse issues to deal with.

I accidentally uninstalled Madden NFL 12. I am not rooted, but the system allowed me to uninstall no problem. I am already on 2.3.6. Do i have to get this back on so I can get any new futures OTA updates?
