Apps suggestion for old men doing a long trip

Hi

My "grandpa" bought an Asus transformer TF101, and asked me to install some apps for a trip he is going to do in next months.

I've found "Navitel" to be "the best" for offline maps (garmin compatible). Now my questions are

1- Where could I buy Europe offline maps? Is there an app that supports multiple offline maps?

2- Need an app for "audio guide turism", preferably spanish

And finally,

3- Good Translator, with audio, phonetics

Any other suggestions?

PS: my "grandpa" remarked me he won't be with 3G nor will have wifi most of the time
