Apps that KILL the battery!

Since the Facebook app seems to be useless for me. I tried Friendcaster. I loved this until I noticed my battery dying at a MUCH faster rate. I had to uninstall the app.

Also the Android System itself is also eating the battery at roughly 48% does that seem about rt?

If you turn off notifications, the notification settings selection will be greyed out. Not sure why Friendcaster was killing your battery. It doesn't even register on mine.

I'll try installing it again.
Perhaps it was the 3rd highest on battery drain list since I used it to sync Profile pics? The facebook app doesnt work for that lol...I'll DL it again and leave it for 2 days and see what happens

I don't know if anyone else uses it but the Ecobee app punishes my battery. Everytime I use it, I need to force close it when I'm done or it just eats up my battery.

Having Maps installed is known to drain the battery w/o use. It's best to disable it and enable it when you actually need it.

Whenever I use Facebook I close it manually when I'm done. If you exit it with the button and then go to task manager you will see that every two seconds or so it uses the cpu in some cases up to 12%. None of the other apps I keep open seem to do that but facebook. Makes me wonder what it is that uses so much cpu in the background and how does it affect battery life cause I noticed it in the beginning and have been shutting it down manualy every time. I'm curious if the same thing happens to others or is it just on my phone.
