Hi.I've noticed some apps day they stop the phone sleeping. Is this just when they are in use open etc or does it mean as soon as you download the phone will never sleep again? How can I tell if it goes to sleep properly?
Usually means they will stop the phone from sleeping say when you put it down and dont use it for a peroid of time. If you've downloaded tons of apps at the same time its hard to determine which one is thecculprit. Not everyone pays attention what app requires what when they download it. You can easily tell if your phone is going to sleep by leaving it sit unused for about 20min. Then go to settings and open the battery log and see if you phone went to sleep. If it did not that means somwthing is preventing it from doing so. There are apps designed to help you find the culprit but at the end of the day its a process to find out which app is the problem. My phone goes to sleep but is constantly waking up even in airplane mode. I have yet to figure that out but I've stopped using live wallpapes since they usually prevented my phone from sleeping as well as being harder on battery drain.
