Help apps to sd then clearing space??

when i move an app, that i've used previously, from the phone memory to the sd card, do i then need to do anything to clear that app data from the phone memory or is that automatically handled when you move it to the sd card?

trying to free up as much space as possible.

If your phone supports this then moving the app will move what it can. It's a move, not a copy. So you don't need to delete anything manually.

It does not move all elements of the app or the app's data, so if you delete the stuff that is not moved you've lost the only copy and might well break the app.
