In preparation for having the Note 8.0, I've become pretty obsessed with possibly getting a custom system made to dock my Note 8.0, use it as my dedicated in-dash car screen, as well as being able to use Navigation without a data connection. That said, I wanted to start a thread for all apps that are useful offline, while on the go, that would be great for the tablet.
This Navigation app says it can be used offline, which is something that Google Nav cannot do (even though Maps can download for offline use, it doesn't translate to Nav).

I'm not sure what the difference is between the USA Sat version and the GPS version. I'm assuming it's a US vs. Rest of the World difference, but I can't confirm because I haven't tried yet.

Of course, this is assuming the use of a Note 8.0 that doesn't have 3G/4G connectivity and/or is a Wi-fi only version. I've never tried that app, but plan on experimenting on my International Note 2. If it works, offline, on that phone...I'll be very happy and will plan on loading it up on the Note 8.0.
