apps wiped :'(

Hi all,

I have a question. My phone broke and was sent for repair, on return it had been wiped.I have searched market and can't find some of the apps I had before, does anyone know why this has happened?

Did you buy them through a third party?
i.e. not from the Market?

Only apps bought in the Market will show. Anything you bought directly from the developers won't show.

As AngryHatter pointed out, only the purchased apps from the market will be permanently linked to your phone. The free apps would most likely be considered uninstalled and reset back to installable. That's one of the main reasons why I use Appbrain in case i need to reinstall all my apps.

It saved my tookus when, in preparation for rooting, I unlocked the bootloader of my Nexus One, reseting the phone back to factory in one quick cringe.
