Hi, first off, uhmmmmm ive never posted here, but i really need some help to what to do!
Well, i use to have shopkick in my phone before i put 2.2 on it, and then all my apps were gone, so i went to download it, and it did not show in the market. ive been trying for 4 days straight. ive tried sending emails, and all i get are one automated email, and thats it, they dont respond. i tried their facebook for some help but no help. plus when i had the app back then it wouldnt scan. i was still happy with it though. but now??? i cant find it. i even tried the online market, but it said my device was not compatible and it didnt let me download it. i also tried appbrain to download it. but it didnt let me. ive been repeatedly trying to find out whats wrong with my phone because ive installed other apps already. i should have stayed with 2.1... i think.
another thing is checkpoints! when i had 2.1 i saw it in the market, and tried downloading it too! it kept on giving me errors, and saying there was a feature i didnt have. when all it says on the description is that you need 1.6.. so i emailed them to tell me why it didnt work for my phone, but i got no answer. i tried the support forum but i couldnt even send a request, it wouldnt let me pick the options and i couldnt send the message if i didnt pick options so im stuck! the only thing i was able to do was post a comment to see if anyone replied. but it looks like noone has been on that support page in a long time. i tried looking online for a apk file for it, and i found one only that i downloaded to my phone, but it didnt let me install because it was corrupted supposibly. so i tried on my computer, and i thought it was going to work , but it said installation failed. the question was , now it doesnt even show in the market. neither shopkick or checkpoints. im so frustrated. i looked in google help forums for why apps were missing and no luck, i tried erasing data and updates and cache and no luck. i sent a request for calling google or market support team , and i talked to the person, but they couldnt do anything about the apps. only refer me to the developers. they told me that it was strange it would say shopkick was not compatible when i had it before on my phone(online). and then when i searched on the market it didnt show. it cant be any country because im here in the u.s. , and i have obviously a camera, and android 2.2, so i dont understand what is wrong. ive been trying to figure this out, reading these forums, and many many many other forums, but no luck. please help me, im so tired of trying the wrong ways, and tired of trying to communicate.
