Apps won't install

Hi,

I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S Plus. If I download an app, it goes perfectly. But the app doesn't install. This is the case with all new apps I want to download or apps that I have and need an update. I have Android Gingerbread 2.3.3.
Also when I download an app, the file/directory of the app doesn't show up in my documents.
I tried restarting my phone and deleting the apps I installed just before the problem occured. Can anyone help? Thanks.

EDIT: Sometimes when I hit the download button, there isn't a bar in the notification area which says at how many procent the download is. Although in the play store I see that the app should be downloading at the moment.

Does it show space when you check Settings > Applications > Storage Use?

Yes, it does.

I kind of solved the problem, but it keeps returning.
For me it worked as follows: Uninstalling Market updates (Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > touch the button "All" in the top part, and then click "Market", and touch "Uninstall updates").

Then I can install everything as usual. But Google let's it update automatically. So everytime I want to download an app I have to do this.
Will it be fixed if I just wait for an update of the Google Play Store?

Thanks

Same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S Plus. When I unistall the updates of Play Store (refer to post of Ri4tje), I use Play Store 3.4.7. With this version installation will work. Hope Google can fix this asap!!
