How can I find out what apps do what? I am new to cell phones and Android. I see apps like "Android Easter Egg", "Basic Daydreams" "CaptivePortalLogin"... Where can I find out what these apps are and do? I believe that there are many there that I could just delete. All comments and help is appreciated.
 
I wouldn't worry about most of those, they are part of the android OS and even if you did try to delete them the system wouldn't let you.
