Root Apps2SD

Well, after quite a bit of reading around and playing with scripts I was able to:

Get the init.d folders into place (Commando doesn't have them stock)
created smaller FAT partition, a 512mb EXT3 & 64mb Swap File
Flash dtA2SD in the boot recovery menus (places them into the init.d folder(s))
execute the script using Toolbox Pro's terminal

but all that ends with this:

index.php

Ignore that upper bit, as I hit a bloody w instead of e...:p

Best I can figure is that its having a hard time (see: can't at all) mounting the EXT3 partition.

I found a script that is supposed to help mount it at boot, but it had no effect.

Didn't have high hopes really, as everything I read kept saying "requires a ROM that supports A2SD." But it does seem I got relatively close...and then for whatever reason my phone wouldn't make it past the Initalizing... screen in start up this morning & I had to run a NAND restore. Dunno if the steps I took above caused it or not as I was playing around quite a bit yesterday.

For now I'm using the pm setInstallLocation 2 code via the terminal, and have moved a handful of the apps that we can't normally move (Maps, Lookout, etc) and so far haven't seen many negatives. All the programs run, but Swiftkey refuses to work properly so it must stay on internal. I think this can also be done in Toolbox Pro under the App2SD settings (just put it on SD instead of Auto).

With stock apps/bloat removed, and a mass majority of the ones I deem necessary installed, I'm sitting at 150mb internal.

Is there any way to get the Darktremor Apps2SD script running on the commando?

i can recommend to use link2sd , search in appstore for apk,
just create 2nd partition for sdcard as you needed (mine 1024Mb, no need for create swap partition C771 kernel currently doesn't support it ( you can do all this from GNM Recovery ).
it doesnt matter you do first , installing link2sd or create partition. As long as you have root access and 2nd partition , link2sd will create script to mount your 2nd partition at boot. Try autolink-ing from menu setting (after install link2sd). Dont forget to re-link library and dalvik cache after link2sd working, it can save more space for your internal.

This does work great thanks for the tip!

Over 200mb internal free.

I did find it will break some apps, even those without widgets, but they are small enough to not matter.
