It's now available in the UK/Europe (although sold out atm)
I'm considering a couple as gifts.
The price is attractive although my knowledge about all things Archos/Android is limited to say the least.

What is the general consensus here, will you be buying one.. why or why not?

I have an Archos 28 media player which is mostly a paperweight. I am not sure if this qualifies as off brand but it is a bit cheap to be confident about it

I've got an older archos tablet and although the battery has seen better days it still works ok.. use it primarily as an ebook reader. I'm getting a Nexus 10 for christmas off the missus but this would be canny for my little boy

I wish they were available in the states.
