Are all screen protectors the same?

I've bought a cheap screen protector off eBay, and its applied with bubbles. Should I try for quality with a premium brand or just order in quantity? 10 for

There are differences in screen protectors, the biggest being the texture. Protectors have different textures so they feel different. Also, some come with neat features. For example, some can make the screen visible only when looking directly at it. Great for privacy if you're a public transportation user. Others may come with anti-glare, anti-fingerprint, ect.

Some people have had experience with protectors turning yellowish or orange-ish, and peeling on the edges. However, I've never had that issue with mine because my protectors are less than 6 months old at the moment.

Oh, and if you're curious, the current screen protector I have is SGP Steinheil ultra crystal. I recomend it if you want something that is close as possible to the cool glass feel. As you can tell by it's name, it's meant to be very clear. Also, it's meant to look and feel like there is not a protector on the phone. :)

So would you say its best for me to buy cheap screen protectors in quantity over quality. Because I seem to mess up loads of times. I've got bubbles in this one, and waiting for my re-order to arrive. I would buy the SGP but the cheap protectors I have feel thin on the screen. Having minimal impact on the original image.

yes.. there are many different types and quality of screen protectors...

but... unless you live and work in area that has a lot of sand...
I say.. you dont need one...

if you use one... for a few months...
take it off.. and feel how great the glass feels!!!

and with how tough glass is.. and with the new gorilla glass...
it is very very hard to scratch glass.. did you know glass is very hard to scratch! it is a normal property of glass. only something as hard or harder can scratch it. there aint that much in your pocket / purse that is that hard.
(sand/glass and diamonds will scratch it)

I wouldn't say that, constant collisions withs coins and keys will be enough to eventually scratch the glass. I'm just not willing to take the risk with such a valued device. Rather safe than sorry, and the screen protector doesn't feel bad on my phone at all

people that have glass tables (not Gorilla Glass)... throw their keys, coins, tools, silverware, plates and other stuff...on them all the time...

it is a scientific property... only something as hard or harder than itself can scratch it.
unless you apply a lot of force!..

:O I have a glass table and that has some visible scratches on it if I look closely. I guess occasionally there maybe something that hits it with 'a lot of force'
