are all the galaxy Notes the same size?

Hey everyone , its great to have a good forum to come too and talk about our awesome phones. I just got my note and iv been on the hunt for a good case, but now im noticing that there are different model numbers for the note. Such as the N 7000 model , but I currently have the SGH i717 , and im wondering all the notes are the same size. Cuz It would suck if I bought a case and it didnt fit!

yea I found that out by reading about it on wikipedia, I also posted this thread on another cell phone forum and some people made some good points. They said that the cell phone cases are actually built differently to accommodate the button layout, so buying an older model case could cover up the beautiful new NOTE i717!
