Are most phones going to that, the camera on the display instead of where there is a border with no screen?

It's all I see is a black dot out of the corner of my eye. I'll have to return the 4a and use the 3a XL. Unless, it's how most companies are making them nowadays

That hole punch camera design is pretty common right now, but not every phone has it.

Some phones have a setting that lets you hide it with a black bar across the top of your screen. Or just check the camera setup before buying to avoid it.

i like the hole punch better then having a camera shrink the screen realty. i do not even notice the whole punch on my note 10+ any more.

Just keep using your current phone for another year or two. This is an interim solution, and will be gone in a couple of years.
