Are Notepad type files stored on SD card?

I had an app on my old DX that is called aNotepad by ChrOnOs. I had a bunch of very important information in there in a bunch of diferent notes. When I got my new razr, I installed the app on it from the market, but my notes do not show up. It is the strangest thing, but the app is gone off of the old DX. I turned it back on to go and look at the app, so that I could get the same one form the market. When I looked it was gone. I don't remember deleting it, I don't know why I would have done that.

I figured that if the notes were on the SD card, they would show up on the new version of aNotepad that I have installed on the razr..

No luck..

Does anybody know where I could look if these happened to be on the SD card?

Does anybody know where I could look if these happened to be on the SD card?

Under settings there it a choice of where to store the notes either on Phone storage or SD storage.
Even though I carefully selected SD storage it stored the notes on internal phone storage / data / anotepad

I tried it twice with equal results.

Call me silly but I'm thinking ur notes are still on the other phone.
