are Play services down?

Phone, tablet, Google TV box, all say "no connection retry" on Play apps, like Play Store, Gmail and Movies, yet I'm online and can browse the web with decent speeds? What's going on?

They have been very unstable all week, alternating between working and the no connection thing.

Hmm mine connects fine, have you updated your phone with a new rom.... I see your rooted............

The ROM wouldn't affect my tablet and Gtv though. Seems the services just came back up though, just managed to update some apps

Play has been OK all week for me every time I tried it, in United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

seems fine now too. i was able to watch my movie and do all i couldn't do last week. last week it absolutely sucked. couldn't access my gmail, couldn't sync my music, couldn't watch my movies. Friday had nothing at all. couldn't get into Play Store even. now it is working fine. read some books, played some music, everything is working. odd?
