Are you going naked or not?

I am going naked. Based on my experience, the glass display of Samsung smartphones are more scratch resistant compared to other smartphones I've had in the past. And with its pleather back cover, I see no reason to worry about possible scratches on it. Besides, why hide the beautiful design. It's meant to be shown off.

I haven't decided, I'm going to wait to see how it feels. I tend to be pretty careful with my phones, but then again it only takes once....

If I do decide to get a case I'll probably wait until more of them are widely available. I have an Element case for my iPhone that I'm upgrading from, it's pretty solid so I'm tempted to wait to see if they'll make one for the Note 3 (they make one for the S4). Held together by little allen screws on the corners, rigid frame of aircraft aluminum to prevent corner drops from cracking the screen, and a small lip front and back to prevent surface scratches when set down. Pricey though.

I have the Spigen Slim Armor on my S4 is light yet robust with a shock absorbing inner liner and a hard shell cover. With thin precise fitting rubber buttons it makes for a great tactile experience. It's light ads very little bulk and improves the economics.

I've got one ordered for my Note 3.
That said I like to go without a case but I'm a big chicken :)

I'd probably put a case on it. Sure, it may look like a work of art but there's nothing preventing the chrome from getting dinged up should it be dropped.

Spigen Neo Hybrid until the Otterbox Defender becomes available. Go naked if you desire your AWESOME device to become needlessly damaged or destroyed.

Tempered glass screen protector, no case. I'm not a fan of the "chrome" accent on the edges, but the back is great, and replaceable.

I'll put a spigen case on it. No screen protector though. With gorilla glass 3 it's really unnecessary.

My dog briefly got ahold of my galaxy nexus and even that brief chewing didn't scratch the glass. So i'm not worried.

Do you know what's on iPhone 5? I've always babied it, but noticed some fine hair-like scratches on it the other day.

Good Dog. Truthfully if my dog destroyed mine I'd still love him.

The phones replaceable, my dog isn't. :)

I had a wallet case and screen protector on my note2 I'm very careful with my phones but one drop on the street shattered my screen did a replacement screen and now it has such a lag. If it didn't have the screen protector I think the glass would of fallen out. Well it gave me the excuse to buy the Note 3.

I gone two years with my note with only the SPIGEN tempered glass - I just got the shipment for the Note 3

Probably do both, I really want a quality leather case that has a flip front with magnetic attach to keep it closed

I'm going naked for awhile, playing a wait and see. I'd probably try a Spigen Slim Armour. I would like a decent quality leather flip. But ideally one that could have some corner drop protection. Dont think any of the leather cases have that. So I guess i want a slim armour that has a leather magnetic front :)

and which tempered glass did you try. (trying to recall your other posts. iLoome?)

I've tried plenty and always return to my first choice - no protector. Nothing is as nice as the smooth accurate feel of Oleophobic coated Gorilla glass 3 it's scratch resistant, easy to keep clean with a microfiber cloth, and very durable.

As soon as I get it will go in a case I order one from eBay until the case I want comes out but in a case it has to go because I tend to drop stuff
