Are you happy?

Paid full price for it and had it engraved with my name plus the dock so no returns for me. Extremely happy with it, however, bare in mind that I previously owned a Behold II. That was a real nightmare and this phone blows it out of the water.

I'm just curious why the behold II was a nightmare? I was planning on getting that phone until I found out about the N1 being released.

Damn. I engraved "AnotherFatalEpic" on the back of my phone, and I am just now realizing that I should have put "TROGDORR!!!"

I'm going to have to buy another Nexus One I just know it.

EDIT: nevermind. When I called up T-MO to ask some questions about insurance and not getting my engraved phone back, the rep mentioned he used to work for a little shop that pretty much laser engraved almost ANYTHING people wanted and that it didn't cost very much either.

I wonder if I could engrave the plastic backing (battery cover) with an image of TROGDORR!!!

Well since the nexus one only has T-Mobile's 3G band at the moment, I think it's safe to say that it belongs to T-Mobile. I have no problem with T-Mobile, I have great coverage where I live, I'm just saying. =P

I think these 2 weeks away from my Nexus One are just going to make me like it more when it finally comes back.

-Unless it comes back with dust under the screen.

I am very happy with my phone. I previously had a Galaxy and this phone is everything that phone isn't, except the N1 doesn't have internal memory. But this is definitely Android in fruition, and I hope this phone lasts forever because I'll use it forever.

Another happy user here. Also another one coming from a galaxy. The nexus is everything I feel an android phone is supposed to be

Moderately happy...
Having come from Nokias, they were as bad at releasing phones and the firmware needing to have quite a few iterations (my N96 started to behave at v30 something), so used to initial glitches.

I am fed up at:
- the lack of turn by turn nav in the UK
- no voice dialling through BT headsets
- few (UK) apps on the iPhone I'd like to see on android

and I miss proper iPlayer integration I had on my N96 (and no streaming over beebplayer isn't the same for me)

Other than that, the screen is great, it's pretty fast...
Although I did bite someone's head off last night when he started moaning at me for getting my iPhone out lol..

All going well, I really think that this phone will be the first phone in a long while that I keep for a year:

HTC Touch Diamond - too many issues.
T-Mobile (UK) G1 - 2 weeks crap reception.
iPhone 3G - a few months, got bored.
HTC Hero - A few months, wanted Nexus One and 2.1.

I had an iPhone 3G, and then a 3GS, and now an N1. I am much happier. But I do miss the games, even though most of the games on the iPhone suck. I hate virtual gaming keypads. But I do wish I had Civilization on the N1.

Solution: buy an iPod touch and you get all the benefits of amdroid and the iPhone. I'm keeping my iPhone as a iPod.

sometimes friends ask me what phone it is and I just say it's the **** you iphone

I love that im gonna borrow that line. Ive had mine for about a month now and i love it. Its a running joke among family and friends to ask me what phone i have this month because i go thru 2 sometimes 3 phones a year. Always looking to get the bleeding edge tech, but i think i found the phone that well keep me happy for the next year (or longer we'll see). But whatever i get after the N1 i can garuntee it will be Android

I can't voice dial from my Jawbone but can through my Bury CV9040 in the car so some might do it (the Bury might have its own software to do it but it def works with the N1).
