Are you leaving Boost?

Recently I've been seeing that many people have been leaving Boost Mobile. Some for abysmal data speeds, some for better phones on other networks etc.

I'm interested in a Boost Mobile account that has shrinkage already. I mean you're about to abandon your account and all that you've built up is going to waste anyway. Why not let a fellow AF member use it to their advantage?

Please. If you have a large amount of balance on your account when you give it over to me I'm not interested, mainly because I'm not looking to pay for this. If you have a few dollars I guess we could work something out. The best situation would be to have Zero balance on the account. I'm looking for someone to do this because of the warm fuzzy feeling of doing good, not the warm fuzzy feeling in your wallet after the deal.

I have Boost Mobile phones on standby that can be placed on your account so you can keep your handset and do with it as you please. Thanks.

interesting idea, though in my case I ported my number out to t mobile, my account was immediately closed.
I did ask them if I could put a different number on it and keep it, with shrinkage I was paying $35 they said not possible.

Drat. Didn't think about that. The search continues.

Maybe hand over the account then I change the number and instead of losing it we port the number out?

The only way I could think that would work is to open a new account and see if they will transfer the number to it, then port that out, leaving the $35 account with the new number. but I dont know how they would do that as usually if you switch numbers that original number goes back into the "grab bag".

In either case its unfortunate that I did this last month so I could not do it now.

As soon as you port a number out, the account is closed. There is no way to do this unless you give up your phone number to the person who's going to take over the account. They could then change the number. But porting equals canceling an account somewhere.

I'm leaving Boost for Republic Wireless because I'm attempting to cut my bills anywhere possible. My area has LTE so data speeds are no longer an issue. Still, Boost and Virgin have the worst speeds I have ever seen.
