ARRRGGHHH! %&$#*!! swipe to answer!...

No mas, No mas...

I surrender to trying to find the magic swipe enough to answer the damn phone. The last thing I need is anything else pushing me closer to the edge. :D

Shake Call installed. Done.

Geez LG it's answering the dang phone, it shouldn't be an exercise.

(Push a freekin' button has worked just fine for me so far...)

Bruce in Ocala-who's ass is gripped to have to get an app to fix something like this

There are a couple of versions of EZ Answer. Several others with the name "button," etc in Play Store.

Never used them. Maybe others will chime in about how good they are on the LG.

I like the swipe to answer.. prevents accidental "too soon answer" as I pick up the device or pull from pocket, etc.

I get the logical thought process with the swipe but (swaggin it) I need a sensitivity adjuster on the swipe then to make mine more sensitive.

Or something.

OTOH, I've never had issues with a button accidentally answering either.

You can get rid of the swipe-to-answer by disabling the lock screen. That would allow you to answer by pressing the button instead of swiping. But the downside is that you have no lock screen.

If only that were so.

At least it's not on my Spirit.

No Lock Screen = slider bar here.

(I could argue the shake to answer IS a logical and effective progression of the swipe method.)

My bad. That's how it was on the Motion. I thought it would be the same with the Spirit.

That would totally explain why I don't remember the "problem" on My Motion.

:D

(I had no LS on it either)

There IS an answer to this. (For me anyway)

ShakeCall.

Shake to answer and hang up. Shake sensitivity adjustment works especially well.

Free I think.

Good enough in fact to go in the tips thread too!

Are you using stock Launcher?

I've used Go Launcher from day one, never had to swipe to answer.

Try it.

Lock screen is a must. lol.

I never really figured why I shouldn't use the stock launcher.

Did not have the option there to do anything but swipe.

I have no lockscreen. I know where my phone is and if it ever goes for a walk I can find it. ;)
