Apps Article or guides for Google Maps API?

Hey guys!

I was just looking around today on some tutorial or something so i can learn a bit of the Google Maps API cus i want to use it in my next app..
Problem is i can't find any guides or nothing on the web when i looked around..

Could someone post some article or guide where they explain a bit or showoff how it works?
