Ascend and Optimus No Longer available

Well good luck getting an Ascend or an Optimus if you were in the market for either. The only way to get them now is with stores that still have them in stock. They are no longer available even online. Hopefully this will mean new phones coming sooner than expected...I am personally looking forward to the Samsung Admire, and the LG Bryce (Esteem)..While the Samsung has good specs...still no flash on the camera well at least the ones that Cellular South have does not. The ones that were branded for Metro that i have seen online had a LED Flash...so lets keep our fingers crossed. From what i have seen of the Esteem is that its the same as the LG Revolution..just has 4gb of internal memory instead of the 16gb that the revolution has...still awesome specs for a 4g phone under 400 bucks...

the ascend is gone, but I still can see the optimus for $99 (I'm in south florida) maybe is a market related avaliability, but like someone said before, I'll use my ascend untill it bricks ^_^

optimus was was gone but came back, but now they all are obsolete, and coming next month or so new phones will drop...

I want to upgrade already from the Ascend. But I don't want to leave the Ascend forum. You guys have helped me out a lot! Almost 2months with the Ascend phone, and I like it. Even though it gets me mad sometimes :/

I cant wait for the new phones to come in. I love my ascend, but am ready for something new and better...i am in hopes that the pics of the samsung were real, and that it will have a flash on the camera, i know the bryce will, but thats gonna be a little pricey for me.

Yeah, I'm feeling that as well. Only problem I'm having is the 3G and some apps that don't work.

Sucks to see mah phone's no longer available...looks like its been pushed from the spotlight already.

Well i have a buddy that owns 2 Metro stores here in the area where i live. He said the samsung is going to be 200 with a 50 mir, and the bryce is going to be 400 with a 50 mir. He said Metro offering it for so cheap to ramp up sales.
