Help Ascend software anywhere

Hi everyone
Well I was wondering again if anyone had the driver software for the ascend for windows xp. I installed one that I think nuttmeg linked but my computer still asks for drivers for android adapter etc. More annoying than anything but I thought I had read somewhere that there was a software suite for the ascend somewhere but Huawei no longer has it on there web page (followed a link)
I would like to use the software to sync,upload,download and manage the phone from my pc with xp also can windows media player link to the phone like a mp3 player does?

the problem with win xp you have to go in device manager and delete Android 1.0, unplug your phone and plug it back in.

ok so I downloaded the drivers and there is not a winxp set. only 7 and vista. How to do this? I did delete the android adapter but it still asks for the software
What am I doing wrong?

Click "PCOptions" then install drivers then when the config window goes away plug your phone in and theyll install

Nope no go. I uninstalled the drivers,then ran the pcoptions then selected install usb drivers then it said configuring then the window goes away and I plug in the phone then the found new hardware wizard comes up I selected automaticly then it comes up and says hardware not installed could not find drivers. bottom baloon says android adapter

I just cancel the popups on the puter, then pulldown my top bar on the phone, tap the usb message, and connect that way.

WOW got ahold of Huawei and they sent me to a link to download a software suite call Hi suite. It connects and no more pop-ups and will let you manage the phone wireless over your network or USB. Want it for the board? It is awesome

It lets you take screenshots too (great for support) and syncs music and manage contacts and a whole lot more including install and uninstall software on the phone
