I started on 1st edition but played (both as PC and DM) mostly 3/3.5 4th seems like they wanted to appeal to the MMO crowd IMO.

The ones I ran were almost only homebrew. Played a few published ones as a PC but I like to be creative.

At times others I get writers block and just can't think of anything original.

Yea, but all d20 based... (modern, swords & sorcery, etc)
