Why does no one complain that water costs more than gas when purchased in single serve bottles?
 
Because you can't buy petrol (that's what we call it downunder) in single serve bottles.

You may like the band I saw last night. I thought they were good, taking into account their inexperience. It was only their second gig, and they're all only sixteen and still at school. Will have at least one of their songs up bu the end of this coming week (I have a big backlog of work to edit and upload). They do a few covers (a Franz Ferdinand song amongst them) and a few originals. They do need to rehearse more but it is difficult for them to find the time. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the show, but they had me boppin' along...

It wasn't late for me, that last post (in this thread) was at 4:49pm.

Are you having a catch up sleep after all your late nights through the week?
 
no 2 nights with no sleep is easily cured with one night sleep :)

what beer do u recommend for my older cousin to try?
 
The beer I mainly drink, Carlton Dry, is probably not available over there. One I tried yesterday, Great Northern, is quite palatable. If he wants to get palstered he could try Carlsberg Elephant Beer. I keep forgetting you need to be twenty one over there to drink, here the legal age to start drinking is eighteen. I might or might not admit to having gone into a pub for my the first time at fifteen. I learned fairly quickly not to drink too much, as when I get drunk I tend to spew (chunder, upchuck, vomit) and I hate doing that, therefore I'm careful not to drink too much.

Should aclohol be used as a social lubricant or to get oneself plastered?
